This guidebook aims to facilitate competitive hackathons, which attract experts and talents, and contribute to enhancing their capabilities, especially in creating innovative solutions and launching new programs.
The UAE is one of the leading countries for organizing and hosting hackathons. Over the past two years, it hosted about 35 percent of the world's hackathons, including thousands of competitions.
The manual outlines how government entities can benefit from launching their hackathons. The benefits include providing an opportunity to acquire new skills, gain a broader perspective, and find alternative and tangible solutions to challenges within a controlled environment.
