Building the Future of Public Sector Innovation

The Public Sector Innovation Diploma, a flagship program in partnership with Cambridge University, aims to empower future government leaders in the UAE through intensive training, workshops, and field visits. Launched in 2015 by the Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation, the program supports the UAE's vision of becoming a global innovation leader. Participants collaborate in teams to design capstone projects that address real-world government challenges in innovative ways, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed for effective leadership in the public sector.

What Are the Goals of the PSID Program?

The diploma program aims to build innovation capabilities of individuals at the heart of driving impact across government to position the United Arab Emirates as a global leader.

Empower Public Sector Innovation Leaders

Equip participants with the mindset, skills, and tools necessary to lead transformative and innovative projects within their organizations, enabling them to drive impactful value across government.

Foster a Collaborative Innovation Ecosystem

Build a strong network of innovation champions across various government entities, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing to pave the way towards transforming the UAE into a global hub for innovation.

Develop Impactful Innovations

Inspire and challenge participants to create forward-thinking, high-impact innovations that address current challenges while anticipating future needs, propelling the UAE’s public sector towards achieving its strategic aspirations.

What Have The PSID Program Achieved?

Since its incubation in 2015, the program has continued to build the next generation of innovative UAE government leaders through intensive training activities, workshops, and field visits to provide the participants with the knowledge, tools, and concepts they need to support the UAE’s vision in becoming one of the most innovative countries in the world. Throughout the program, the participants work in teams to design and develop capstone projects that innovatively solve the UAE’s government challenges.
